HTC Desire C merupakan ponsel Android 4.0 ICS yang menerapkan desain simple dengan balutan warna merah di permukaan belakang casingnya. Mirip seperti One V, ponsel ini akan dibanderol dengan harga cukup terjangkau.
Sempat muncul dalam bentuk foto 'tidak resmi', HTC Desire C akhirnya tampil kembali, kali ini dengan status yang berbeda. Yup, smartphone terbaru itu telah diperkenalkan secara resmi oleh sang pabrikan belum lama ini.
Seperti yang telah disebutkan diatas, HTC Desire C dilaporkan bakal menjalankan sistem operasi Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich yang dipermanis dengan Sense 4.0. Sementara untuk audio, Desire C telah menyematkan teknologi Beats Audio.
Beberapa spesifikasi yang tercakup dalam smartphone itu, di antaranya layar LCD 3.5 inchi HVGA, prosesor 600 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1, dan RAM 512 MB.
HTC Desire juga hadir dengan beberapa fasilitas menarik, seperti kamera 5 MP, memori internal 4 GB (plus 25 GB penyimpanan dari Dropbox selama dua tahun), slot microSD, konektivitas 3G dengan 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, dan USB 2.0. Untuk menyuplai daya, HTC Desire C dibekali sebuah baterai berkapasitas 1230 mAh.
Smartphone ini akan tersedia akhir bulan ini di beberapa negara di Eropa dengan beberapa pilihan warna Polar White, Stealth Black, dan Flamenco Red. Kisaran harganya bervariasi mulai dari 200-220 euro.
